Handmade
Designed and Assembled in the USA.
Handmade, hand crafted, components, parts, barrels, refills, etc. What does all of this mean to you? Actually, its pretty simple. I buy pen parts (metal components) from several suppliers both domestic and foreign. I buy woods from all over the world, both from individuals and also from specialty wood suppliers both domestic and foreign. The same goes for the various acrylics and plastic resins used for the pen barrels. I also harvest some of my own wood locally and some is given to me. I also make some acrylic resins myself from different materials. A few of the pen styles and components I use are produced 100% in the USA. I then design my pens based on the components I have selected and craft the parts (barrels) on the lathe, make modifications, apply a protective finish and finally assemble the many parts and pieces into the final product - a unique handcrafted writing instrument. |
The bottom line -
The bottom line is that I, as a pen maker, design an item for an individual using parts and pieces from materials made all over the world then and assemble the final product in Louisiana, USA.
